FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – (SAP Experienced)

Remuneration: N8.4M – N9.6M pa. + Accommodation + other Coy. Bens.

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria

Our Client is an International Power Energy Consortium with Head Office in Dubai, and major operating locations in countries in the Middle East, Africa, including Nigeria.

We are looking to urgently recruit a top finance manager with strong SAP experience with insights to support strategic decision-making, in collaboration with operational teams. You will focus on cost management and investment decisions, while assisting in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to identify potential risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ICAN) with experience in delivering finance and commercial targets, providing high-quality financial information, and producing timely reports. You should possess strong technical skills, comprehensive knowledge of current accounting standards, exceptional analytical abilities, and an aptitude for resolving complex issues.

JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work alongside the finance and operations teams to support in delivering the divisional objectives and strategy

Work closely with the Contract Director and budget holders to provide high quality financial information to support decision making

Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Produce the month end reporting (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Group timetables and provide transparent contract finance reporting that will withstand management scrutiny/challenge Own and update the Risks and Opportunities log for the contract

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ICAN)

Well experience, with a minimum of 3 years SAP experience

Good communication skills at all levels

Good knowledge of finance and operational processes and systems (‘hands-on’ use of SAP, ERP)

High level of integrity
