HEAD, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – TERITORIAL GROWTH
Remuneration: N6.5M + Car, Pension, HMO, Bonus Structure + Coy Bens.
Location: South-West, Nigeria

As Head of Business Development, you’ll work with the Director of Business Development to build a high-performing team, hiring and retaining talent in defined roles, setting goals, delegating work, and holding reports accountable, while developing and empowering direct reports to make decisions and act.
The focus of your role will be to support and develop the team and drive revenue objectives, in a player/coach role. As well as to develop and implement key growth strategies and tactics to support revenue growth.
A key responsibility in this role is to upskill the BDM division and to set a best-in-class culture and enjoy the challenge of making a difference.
THE ROLE
Building and executing sales strategies, improving the sales process and conversion rates to deliver predictable revenue
Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, and always be aware of the current market and the changes occurring
Working closely with Marketing to create, maintain and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
Developing, improving, and embedding sales playbooks, scripts, and sales decks
Tracking performance against targets, reporting weekly on key KPIs and activities, and utilising internal meetings to escalate issues
Collaborate and engage in a constant feedback loop with our Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams so as to continually improve our offerings
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
You are expected to be highly experienced and well adverse when it comes to the Health ecosystem, and have a proven track record of selling into the Health Sector
You are a curious, highly organised, and proactive individual with a strong desire to drive change in the Nigeria’s Health Sector
Have a proven track record in coaching & developing high-performing sales teams who have sold to the numerous health companies and organisation
Strategic planning, sales in a consultative, long sales cycles environment prioritising sales efforts
Data-driven with a willingness to get stuck to continue to refine the sales process
Strong success leading and managing sales teams with a proven ability to hire, manage, mentor, and motivate successful, solution-oriented sales teams
Prior experience at a scaling health-tech company
