Remuneration: N750,000 – N800,000 pm + Coy. Bens

Location: Lagos

Our client, a large and very successful multinational in the Automobile industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee their sales team and drive the growth of their dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales strategies/targets to meet or exceed sales targets in the automotive industry.
  • Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, and other key partners in the industry.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Monitor sales metrics and report on sales performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive sales.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Stay informed about competitors and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as finance, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Management or related field.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in automotive sales of commercial vehicles, with proven track record of meeting sales targets in senior position
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft office, relevant ERP skills
  • Leadership and team management experience.
