SALES MANAGERS (Radiology & Radiotherapy Equipment)

Remuneration: N400,000 – N500,000 + very attractive Commission structures plus other benefits.

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos Island.

We are urgently looking to bring on board skilled and experience Medical Equipment Sales Managers for an Internation reputable organisation, with sound knowledge in Radiotherapy.

 MISSION:

To maximize company sales, revenue, market share, and profit margins through direct sales and consumer focused initiatives. The segment manager will lead sales effort for

radiotherapy equipment, maximizing opportunities and driving target achievement through strategic account management and development.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of new, updated, and existing products within the segment.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing team and build industry partnerships to promote segment products, reduce costs, and drive sales growth.
  3. Monitor project performance at both the individual product and segment levels by analyzing data, identifying best- and worst-performing products, creating profit and loss

statements, and benchmarking against competitors.

  1. Assess and refine product and segment strategies based on performance data to improve overall results.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams consisting of marketing, procurement, and purchasing professionals to execute segment strategies throughout the organization.
  3. Communicate segment and product goals, assign roles and responsibilities, and drive team collaboration to enhance performance.
  4. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement for stock replenishment, and manage the clearance of excess or obsolete inventory.
  5. Apply financial analysis techniques to review reports, evaluate product and category performance, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and boost sales.
  6. Develop and execute segment plans to achieve revenue goals, prepare capital and expense budgets, and create selling strategies based on competitive advantages.
  7. Conduct competitive intelligence gathering to strategically position products in the market.
  8. Assist in coordinating and executing marketing strategies, including targeting events, promotions, and sales initiatives to drive product success.
  9. Implement monthly promotional campaigns to support sales objectives.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external customers to support business growth.
  11. Manage relationships with new and existing customers to strengthen loyalty and engagement.
  12. Plan and execute marketing events on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to generate qualified leads and grow the customer base.
  13. Plan budgets and targets annually and monitor monthly/quarterly implementation to meet set expectations.
  14. Manage opportunities within the sales funnel effectively and efficiently, following up with prospects through each stage to successfully close deals

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • B.Sc. from any reputable higher institution
  • MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience with 2 years in supervisory/management position
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales
  • principles and practices, and the ability to coach others
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Demonstrated organizational, leadership and team building skills
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment
  • Have impeccable attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Experience or working knowledge of Project Management is desirable
