TRAINING AND INDUCTION MANAGERSecurity Personnel

They’re looking for a well experience and skilled Training and Induction Officer to carry out the functions stated below.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, develop and maintain teaching resources to ensure the best experience for the Guards.
  • Maintain safe working practices and a safe environment for the Guards.
  • Develop and deliver dynamic learning programs that meet the needs of guarding department and utilize multiple and diverse teaching and learning strategies.
  • Deliver employability training in a group setting that engages the staff through an in-depth differentiated and tailored learning experience.
  • Plan and deliver functional skills as an embedded part of the training programme.
  • Assess departmental needs and set robust plans and targets to meet their needs.
  • Achieve outcomes for the company that provide a wide range of benefits including jobs, apprenticeships, qualifications and other progression routes.
  • Prepare guards for their subsequent next steps of work.
  • Manage data for guards including initial assessment, enrolment, daily registration of training attendance and ensure all requests & support needs are processed efficiently.
  • Deliver learning programmes flexibly across the locations.
  • Keep up to date with developments in training methodology and security issues.
  • Any other reasonable tasks or duties as required by the line manager or organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sound knowledge of humanitarian security.
  • Demonstrable competence in and enthusiasm for practical training methods.
  • A sound appreciation of at least some the range of personal and technical issues facing relief workers such as international law, codes and standards, gender and conflict issues.
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines with a minimum of support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills including tolerance and flexibility
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong work tenure: Minimum of 6 - 10 years security field experience preferably in a security trainer role.
  • Applicable certifications is a plus

They’re looking for a well experience and skilled Training and Induction Officer to carry out the functions stated below.

As a security system technician, you install, configure, maintain, and repair video surveillance, alarms, and other security equipment while conforming to all safety protocols and other relevant codes.

This applies to the physical security and access to a building, as well as security systems to protect computer networking assets, where you establish system access with IDs, teach clients about creating passwords, and keep accurate records. You examine damaged systems to troubleshoot problems such as loose connections and broken insulation. Your duties also include drilling holes for wiring, running and positioning cables, studying install sites and building plans/blueprints to determine required materials and to ensure correct installation. Other responsibilities include mounting control panels, sensors, video cameras, conduits, and more. Once systems are installed, you run tests on circuits, sensors, backup batteries, sirens, and other security features to verify they are functioning properly.

REQUIREMENTS

The qualifications required to become a security system technician include a Higher Diploma or GED certificate and minimum of 3 professional years of experience in a related field.

You should be able to read blueprints and be trained in access control, alarm and intrusion, and how to install and program various systems.

Industry safety standards are mandatory for many businesses. This position requires extensive travel, so a valid driver’s license is needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to work effectively on a team, being detail-oriented, and thorough.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, bending, and climbing, and being comfortable working outside in adverse weather conditions.

You are also expected to wear safety equipment at times, pass periodic drug tests, a background check, and for some companies, you must obtain Government Security Clearance.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Due to exponential growth, there is now an opportunity and a requirement for a Management Accountant to join an award-winning multinational provider of luxury estates.

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for all internal reporting of revenue, COS and margin analysis, accurate historical financial analysis, and reporting, and assisting with budgeting/forecasting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be expected to maintain a culture of financial control ensuring the utmost responsibility and accuracy of reported information, investigating variances against projected plans, and providing supporting commentary.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain monthly control schedules and post accurate journal adjustments for accrued/deferred revenue, ensuring accurate reconciliation of invoiced orders.

Regularly review and analyse all COS and ensure alignment to revenue recognition.

Ensure accurate profitability and margin analysis is completed for all revenue channels, with supporting commentary vs. budget/forecast.

Reconcile monthly stock balances and ensure accurate provisions are in place to cover obsolete stock and write offs.

Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations for accrued/deferred revenue, accrued/prepaid stock and COS are prepared monthly, and that all balances are correct, and differences investigated.

Assist with the production of quarterly Board packs by providing accurate KPI and revenue analysis.

Conduct monthly financial analysis, providing insights into key performance indicators and financial trends to support strategic decision making.

Weekly KPI analysis and dashboard metrics for senior management team, including MRR, growth and churn metrics.

Assist in the production of accurate monthly flash results and month-end analysis aligned to Group reporting deadlines.

Ensure accurate lock-down of each reporting period within ERP software.

Assist in year-end statutory audit process, preparing annual audit files and back-up, as required.

Deputise for Financial Controller in their absence and approve day-to-day transactions and journals, as required.

Provide sales and profitability reports to senior stakeholders, as required.

Develop robust processes and controls to ensure risks are managed appropriately in line with Group requirements.

Other ad hoc projects as required by the Finance Director or Financial Controller.

 

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or ICAN

Sound knowledge and experience of working with ERP and finance systems.

Strong technical understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.

Strong IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Good business acumen with commercial thinking.

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels.

Experience of working in a multinational organisation or Group structure.
